Anyone who's been to Playa del Carmen's downtown beaches will recognize this famous landmark - "El Faro," or "The Lighthouse." Few people, though, have seen it the other way around - El Faro beach in Playa del Carmen from on top of the lighthouse!
This video offers spectacular panoramas of the turquoise Caribbean (with the island of Cozumel vaguely in the distance), the people swimming, the tour boats, the ferry at the dock and the very wide, white beaches that have made El Faro and other downtown Playa del Carmen beaches so well-loved by the world.
