Colosio Neighborhood quiet real estate opportunities in Playa del Carmen

In this video, Doug Morgan of TOPMexicoRealEstate.com discusses one of the more interesting Playa del Carmen real estate opportunities which receives relatively little attention; this is the neighborhood of Colosio, just north of downtown - much of it is comfortable walking distance, and a 5 minute walk to the beach.

Originally founded in the early 90's as the town's first working class neighborhood, it's proximity to downtown and the beach, combined with its many small stores and restaurants make a pleasant, convenient place to live. Because of its working-class origins, prices are very low for this close to the beach; but the transformation is already beginning – shops that sell items like homemade Italian pasta, quaint specialty restaurants and pizza shops with unique atmospheres, and a decent supply of very well-built Playa del Carmen homes for sale that are just in need of a little loving touch to turn them into a dream home near the beach, are all beginning to capture the attention of a handful of expat investors and homeowners.

What's more, the community is very quiet, relaxed and peaceful.
